Short Bio
Jun'ichiro Mori is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo. He obtained his doctoral and master's degrees in Information Science and Technology from the University of Tokyo. Prior to joining the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, he was a Junior Associate Professor (Lecturer) at the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. His researches have focused on Artificial Intelligence, particularly in the fields of user modeling, information extraction, and social network analysis. He has led several government-funded research projects as the principal investigator. During 2006–08, he was a visiting researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). His current research interests include data mining with graphs, social network analysis, and representation learning.
